InfoVerge nurtures YOUNG TALENT

Our Graduate Internship Programme provides young jobseekers with an opportunity to have workplace experience and relevant knowledge within the ICT sector. The programme has been running since 2018, and over 30 interns from South Africa’s finest tertiary institutions have been part of the programme and while some we offered positions within InfoVerge, most went on to join reputable companies, like Microsoft, Oracle, Discovery, First Distribution to name few.

The graduates in the programme can supplement their qualifications with real work and life experience, and we achieve our aim of nurturing and retaining talent to benefit the business and the industry. We accept graduates who have completed degrees or diplomas in a wide range of courses, covering all aspects of Information Technology and business.


IT Infrastructure Manager

Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, The IT Infrastructure Manager – Pre-Sales and Post Sales at InfoVerge is at least 30% – 40% customer facing and 60% -70% internal, managing success and efficiency of technical teams. The desired candidate, typically manages a team and works in the field of information technology (IT), responsible for overseeing customer’s IT infrastructure; with the priority on Microsoft software as the core InfoVerge competency, but also including hardware, networks, information security, virtualisation and other related technologies. Their role is critical in ensuring that the teams are managed of customer’s optimal IT
systems are operating effectively and efficiently to support their business’s needs. With Pre-Sales, this will include planning, designing and architecture and contributing to the pricing structures and models. With Post Sales, responsibilities will include managing a team for effective and efficient implementations, support and maintenance.

As a Senior IT Infrastructure Manager – Pre-Sales and Post Sales at InfoVerge Solutions, is the largest business contributor of the business and manages pre-sales and post sales efforts such as:

  • Solutions Designing and Architecture to complex technical needs
  • Identifying trends in product quality and performance to define or change existing features
  • Delivering and delivering on customer roadmaps
  • Leading and managing project schedules and release plans

you will play a critical role in overseeing both on-premise and cloud server infrastructure solutions for our diverse client base. In addition to managing a team of IT technicians, you will also provide technical pre-sales support to assist the internal sales team in understanding client requirements and proposing suitable infrastructure solutions.

This position also acts as technical advisor with customers to evangelize products, solicit feedback, and support field sellers where needed. This role also designs and drives programs and/or product changes that address customer needs and business priorities.
